NGPF Podcast: Ram Palaniappan of EarnIn

Imagine a payroll system that lets you access your money as soon as you've earned it, instead of having to wait every two weeks for something that is already yours. EarnIn, a platform innovated by Ram Palaniappan, does exactly that. Hear more on the NGPF podcast.

Ram Palaniappan, Founder of EarnIn

Ram Palaniappan has transformed the way people access their wages with the creation of his platform, EarnIn, which allows workers to receive their pay as soon as they earn it, challenging the conventional bi-weekly pay cycle that can often lead to financial strain.

"There's nothing else in our life that is important to us that runs every two weeks," Ram points out, highlighting the absurdity of traditional pay systems twe have become so used to.

"Imagine if Google said, give me all of your search queries and every two weeks I'll give you the results. You'd never use Google...”

By allowing immediate access to earned wages, EarnIn provides a vital financial lifeline that reduces the need for payday loans and the potential strain that comes with it. For educators and others on monthly or bi-weekly schedules, EarnIn is an essential tool for managing cash flow and avoiding financial pitfalls.
