1. Join the Finance in 40 Challenge

Commit to dedicating a 40-minute class period in the month of April to exploring personal finance skills AND have a chance to win $500 for your classroom. Choose from four pre-created interactive lessons or do your own lesson. We've got certificates, stickers, and more available to encourage you students.

This challenge is open to all U.S. teachers of grades 6-12, regardless of subject area.

2. Decorate with Printable Posters

Print and display posters with finance stats and inspirational money quotes to help you get your classroom ready for #FinLitMonth.

3. Play FinLit Month BINGO

To help you and your students initiate impactful discussions around money, we’ve created three fun Financial Literacy Month BINGO Boards.

4. Use Questions of the Day

Published every Monday-Thursday during the school year, Questions of the Day are the ultimate bell ringer and help spark student conversation and curiosity. You can use one every day during FinLit Month.

5. Screen a Documentary about the Impact of Financial Education

Inspire your students with a screening of a movie or documentary that shows the impact of financial education.

6. Inform Parents with Ready-Made Newsletters

You know how important parents are when it comes to your students' financial education. Our ready-made customizable parent newsletters for each unit provide the perfect way for you to share with parents what their child is learning in your classroom and let them know it’s Financial Literacy Month.
