With one week left of Financial Literacy Month, there's still time to join the Finance in 40 challenge for a chance to win $500 for your classroom. The goal is to introduce more students than ever to personal finance skills in one standard 40-minute class period. Read on for details.

This challenge is open to all U.S. teachers of grades 6–12, regardless of subject area. Please help us spread the word to your colleagues.

How to Participate: 

1. Register

By joining in, you'll be entered for a chance to win $500 in DonorsChoose credits.

2. Choose a Lesson

Pick from four pre-created lesson plans.

3. Deliver Your Lesson by April 30

Lead students through the interactive experience.

4. Celebrate!

You can print certificates of completion and stickers for your students. Once you've done your lesson, keep an eye on your inbox to see if your class wins a prize!

There's no additional step required after that, but we love to see the updates from those of you sharing out on social media with the hashtag #FinanceIn40 and tagging @NextGenPF.
